Hi,
I have a problem with SNMP not working well in one of our
servers.
One the server which has the problem: bash-2.05$
ps -ef | grep snmpd gives me :
root 12487
1 0 Sep 08 ? 0:56 /usr/lib/snmp/snmpdx -y -c /etc/snmp/conf
On all other servers which are
responded fine.
Any ideas on what could be wrong here ?

All I can suggest for that is to try running the agent with debugging
turned on,

server. I am trying to uninstall it and install a later version - net-snmp-5.2.1.2-1.i686.rpm
I ran the commands - make uninstall, make
clean and make distclean to remove the older version. However on executing the
