I installed net-snmp my Ubuntu machine. Works well.

NET-SNMP version: 5.7.2.1
simon@Subuntu-2:~/SNMP$ snmptranslate -m +MPBC-RMH-MIB -IR -On
mpbcRMHDateTime

Now I am trying the perl scripts but it fails:

Is there a good reason for choosing an outdated net-snmp version for a new
installation?

I installed netsnmp 5.3.0.1 successfully in sunOs [ 2.10 ] . BUt while
running mib2c getting the error mentioned in the subject line.
Steps followed to install net-snmp 5.3.0.1
echo $PATH =
/export/home/jithin/test/NETSNMP/install/bin:/usr/local/net-snmp/bin/:/u
sr/local/bin/:/usr/ccs/b
erl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi/SNMP.pm

Do I need to set any environment variable?
