I expected the traps to be logged and sent to a SNMP manager (Zenoss ou Nagios). Since my NMS isn't working for the moment, I wanted to log the traps. And I'm using a traphandle in snmptrapd do run a little script to make sure that the traps are received... Hope its enough to answer your question

I figure that my trap receiver is snmptrapd. I usually restart de snmpd and snmptrapd daemons on my local box with service snmpd restart and service snmptrapd restart. I used the snmpconf to generate the files snmp.conf snmpd.conf snmptrapd.conf. I thought this was the correct procedure to make
