Hi members of the Network Manager list.
I'm VinÃcius from Brazil and I ask for help to the the following problem
when using network manager with a mobile (3G) network:

Thank you Dan for your answer.
I can set Shared Key auth mode in KDE NM editor.
And I did this on other notebook with KDE.
But Gmone nm-manager-editor doesn't show me this field (auth mode)

Hi all,
I have a box acting as a gateway/web server which uses HSPA for backhaul. I

connections. It

found a solution for it using NM.
My wvdial configuration file (/etc/wvdial.conf) reads:
[Dialer 3g]
Modem = /dev/ttyUSB0 # substitute 'ttyUSB0'
Hi Vinicius,
Instructing the modem to prefer one particular type of network (i.e. a
HSPA/UMTS one instead of one using GPRS/GSM) is probably a common query. You
can probe what the modem is set to prefer various modes using an AT command,
but as seems to be the case with every single damn WWAN

Hey all,
I hope this is the correct place to provide several patches for the

Hi,
Just started work on the export functionality of the nm-openvpn plugin, but
i thought, i should ask if others are already working on it?
