If wireless security information is not provided to the plug-in, will the default plug-in handle it?

Hi, dear Dan, Wireless security information is a bit complicated in Gentoo and I think I will not support reading it at first. But I still want to support IP, gateway, DNS configuration. Is it possible that my plug-in handles these information and the default one handles the security information?
