I have a Matrox G200, and in KDE under Mandrake 5.3, the best I can get is a virtual desktop with low resolutions. I want to use the SVGA server with 1024X768 and 32bpp. I cannot figure out how to fix this, I have tried editing the XF86config file but have had no luck. Any ideas? thanks Nick

first thanks for the correct command line for true color which was startx -- -bpp 32 modem question using kpp using mandrake 5.2 I changed it to com2(cua1) in settings in linux and it came up with a screen that said modem ready but then nothing happened the dialup box froze this is
