Hi,
How do I create a POP3 user without using linuxconf? I know how to
adduser but that creates a regular user. (Unlike the POP3 users that
have only the ability to use the mail system on my server.
Thanks.
There is a very fine editor that is non-specific language wise called
Moonshine. You will find it at:

From what I understand the ext2 filesystem is less prone to
"fragmenting" than FAT (Windows/DOS).
There is, however a BETA defragmenting package on the L-M 6.1 install
CD. Use w/ caution, cuz this has not had all of the kinks worked out
and it's better to be safe than sorry. I personally have

screen. When I reboot, it never gets to the X login screen (I set
Would you still have to defrag a FAT32 partition even if linux is the primary OS for
it?

was always this easy. Can this be done with any other programs' skins

I fear I have to correct you on that though. You're mistaken with the
"wake-on-lan" function.
The "boot from lan" option is used to boot a diskless client over a LAN. Instead
of booting off its own harddrive, it will boot off a harddrive of another
machine connected to the LAN. It requires you

Perhaps this is more of a KDE problem than a Mandrake Linux one,
It's my guess that you have your Ls-120 on the Secondary Slave channel. In
that case hdd is correct.

Dear friends:
I just installed Mandrake 7.0 by FTP a few days ago to test it out. I
have heard from our gurus that it still has a lot of bugs in it. I take
their word for it. Let's hope 7.1 fixes these bugs.
However, I must say that I am startled, astonished by the fabulous new
features in
I don't know how you would do that with Moonshine unless you had access to
your file through NFS or SMB. If the files are on your own server I would
recommend configuring one of those to gain access to your files on the server.
