If you're using the GUI, in KDE:
Why don't you use kpackage to uninstall, and go to rpmfind.net download the
new version and install it with kpackage.
Or use rpmdrake.
U can just type the kpackage or rpmdrake in the command line and it will run
the programme.

and if u disable it over there the right click doesn't work for Icewm,
