Hi all, wondering if anyone has used Single Network

Hello I have just been switched over from DSL
broadband to PPPoE service and I am not able to get a working setup. I have
tried Mandrake SNFno go I have tried Smoothwallno go and I have tried
E-Smiths gateway and again no go. with SNF I wasn't able to get onto the
internet at all.
star off ice needs to be installed for each individual user as far as i know
but i'm not an expert by any means

I Know ncftpd allows for vitual users using the ncftpd_passwd command but
i'm not sure if proftp allows this as well.
