Hi,
I think this is what you are after;
To scrap the current MBR boot from your boot disk and type;
fdisk /mbr from a boot disk
Then to create the (minimal boot) file system, type;
sys c:
Of course you will need a DOS (or Win95/95/ME) boot disk with fdisk.exe and
sys.com on it to do this.
I believe in my very limited knowledge that the command is
mv oldfilename newfilename
e.g. mv mydocument mydocument.bak

Dear friends:
Oops, sorry bout that, just got in and jumped the gun - you can write a
script to loop through the contents of a directory and perform commands on
the files therein, but I don't know it off the top of my head.

I believe you will also have to sys the C drive. What I do is make a Windows
boot disk and copy fdisk.exe, format.com and sys.com from
c:\windows\command. Then boot from that disk and type;
fdisk /mbr
sys c:
Then you should get your windows loader back. Fdisk /mbr kills the Master
Boot
No, it's not just you. Same happens here. I have to cut paste the newbie
