I do have the Boot Magic provided on disk 3 of Mandrake 7. Maybe I will try that first, and then just do an upgrade rather than a full install. Really, what else is it for but to tinker around with. It's not like I have much Stuff Of Importance on either hard drive yet, since the PC is a grand
