What am I missing?

Hi,
I appears that MDK7.1 does add the icons for RealPlayer as 7.0 did.
And, the Panel to be very lean. Does any one know how to add RealPlayer7

Not only that but you have to type in and call up the kmenuedit.
Whenever you try to configure, an error message appears indicating
Hi Tom,
Thanks for the info. I checked this out. However, RealPlayer G2 is no
longer available for download for Linux and Unix - according to
www.real.com. Unless, you have an extra .rpm copy Real.com only offers
options for Realplayer7 or 8 .rpm(beta) or .bin(beta).
Too bad.

Hi,
I recently installed MDK7.1. I was trying to edit the KDE panel by
selecting Panel-Edit Menus. However, I get a message that the menu
editor is not installed(OOPS). Does any one know where the menu editor
exists? Apparently 7.1 did not install it. It used to be in 7.0.
Thanks,

During the installation of RealPlayer7, the first default is
/usr/local/RealPlayer7. When I installed it to this, I
I think I used the wrong commands. I downloaded it to my root directory.
Next, I typed in tar-xvzf linux-ar-405.tar.gz
A new directory named lLINXR.install was created. I could see the

Every time I changed to this directory and typed in ./install it would
Sounds good.

Hi everybody,
I have installed Linux to my D partition. The size is about 2047 MB.
Linux Mandrake installation uses 2044 MB. However, I have another 14
Gig. of unused space using NTFS (factory installed). I have manually set
the following setting during installation:
/boot ==15 MB
/root
I am also using Linux Mandrake 7 PP.
