I am in the exact same problem. I managed to configure my X server with my video
card Trident 3DImage 975. I can't read anything, so weird. Pablo, would you please
copy that portion of your configure file and post it here. I want to try it but I am
not very good at using text editor to edit

Thank you for all the response on my Monitor configuration problems. I got a lot of
response and would like to ask a couple more question.
1. I will try to run XF86Config or XF86Setup to try to configure my monitor setting
manually. However, I don't know how to run them. After I boot

Was able to select video card but unable to set up monitor Cybervision. Try custom,
every possible combination there was there
I have a monitor manual with all the spec such as horizontal and vertical range, but
Xconfigurator doesn't allow manual input the range. Unless, I am missing something.

I got an opportunity to attend the Linux installation workshop at Atlanta Linux Show.
It was great. It was so easy to setup the non-commercial Red Hat there.
I bought the cheap CD-Rom of Mandrake 6.1 and try to install it on my home computer.
