I did a text install, and it simply bombed shortly after trying to detect the hd's. I jumped thru the consoles, and found that it's having scsi parity err's. What I don't understand is why. This hd, while an older type is 'new' in that I am the first person to ever use it. It will install

he install screens, you will see one that gives you a choice of "Install" or "Update". When you get there, choose "Update". (could be "Upgrade"). This will not wipe out your existing stuff, and will still replace the existing version with the newer one. Hope all this
