Hi, my acer monitor broke down and I replaced it with a viewsonic one. The change was not automaticly detected and mandrake 9.1 still thinks there is an acer. Can I have linux autodetect the monitor just like it does when I do a fresh install. Or can I manually set what monitor is used?

Hi, I took my cd player off the computer and started linux without it. After that I put the cd player back and restarted linux and the cd was not there. In konqueror it just says 0 Items - 0 Files - 0 Directories. When trying to install software it asks for the cd3 but just spits them out.
