Yep, you can use ifconfig to determen your IP address. The first IP address
of the network interface connecting to the desired network is your IP
address.

Try this:
mkdir /mnt/windows
mount -t vfat /dev/hdXX /mnt/windows
The XX stands for the partition number, you can check this by giving the command:
dmesg

Can anyone tell me how to make my cdrom drive accessinle for my ftp site?
I have tried it with "link" "device" and "Folder" but none worked..
It seems to be setting the permissions back to the users group instead of the
ftp group
anyone has an idea??
