Well Ed...I wish I could explain exactly how I got it working; but I cannot. I got totally frustrated and yanked everything out of my computer and went through everything I could think of to make sure there were no conflicts as I put everything back in. Then I defaulted the BIOS and reconfigured

Start herewww.linmodem.org. Then tell us more detail on your modem perhaps...internal..external,pci..isa maybe ? Just makes sure this is still not a winmodem. You can also try going into minicom from a terminal,and querying the modem from there. Lee On Sat, 19 May 2001, you wrote: > >
