Thanks for the tip, Steve. I noticed that the Print menu-item was grayed
out in FF .8 the other day. Sometimes though one thing just leads to
another. After changing the user.js file and printing a test page, I got
a printout informing me that the Postscript interpreter in the printer
was too old
Well I'm going to toot my own horn a little. Being a real NEWBIE I
found this solution on my own when even the people on the Mozilla
forums didn't have an answer. I feel pretty good about this.
There were some posts there that talked about using url
'about:config' in Firefox but that only hung
