Hi,
I installed Linux Mandrake 6.0 and realised that I forgot to install a
telnet daemon during the installation process. What is the simplest way to
installed and configure Telnet? Is the daemon called telnetd? I can't seem
to find it...
Regards,
Taquin
Telnet isn't a daemon it's an actual program that you can call either from
a terminal window or in the program menu. To know for certain as to
whether or not the program exists on your system in a terminal window
type;
whereis telnet ENTER
If it comes back empty then the program
påminer ju mycket om Solaris från Sun. För övrigt önskar jag mig ett
externt modem som stöds av Linux Mandrake, så kan jag slänga ut Windows.
Solong,
Olof
