Many thanks, Bryan and Jason. I installed ACPI RPMs and enabled it through MCC last night but the problem is still there. In fact the situation became worse after enabling ACPI, I had to press power-off button quite a while ( 10 seconds) to trun it off when rebooting. Previously what I need is

Hi Folks, Recently I notice that each time when rebooting, my Mandrake 10 box always hangs up there. More specifically it hangs up there after messages such as 0„20„20„20„20„20„20„20„2md: stopping all md devices 0„20„20„20„20„20„20„20„2 md: md0 switch to readonly mode
