Hi all,
I've installed Mandrake 7.1 recently and during install everything went fine
except the monitor/video part.
After rebooting and running Xconfigurator i could fix the problem, but at
that moment i couldnt find any drivers for my monitor and on the standard
driver i couldnt get a screen
the correct driver for my monitor in the list, i just didnt see it
the previous time i guess. I used DrakConf from within KDE to
change the monitor and all went well.

downsides of leaving it on all the time:
heat buildup (computer is enclosed no air conditioner live in the
south *haha*)
solution -- good fans, take the cover off (that's what i do)
