Is there a way to graphically see all PC's on a network? Like Network
Neighborhood in Winblows. I have a small LAN at home and I want to set up
some file sharing. I didn't know if it could be done this way or if I had to
mount the drive to see it...
Much thanks,
Moose

Search at freshmeat.net for LinNeighborhood. It's a graphical Samba client
that allows you to see, browse, and mount shared directories and devices.

er, wild
Steven,
Look for LinuxNeighborhood on the Net. It somehow appears to be similar to Net Neigh
of Windows. However you'll need samba running and the samba clients installed. I'll
search my backups and see whether I have a copy for you.

I am using KExplorer after loading smb and mounting the file systems from my
other computers. One problem though, if one of the other machines goes offline,
KExplorer seems to hang for a while, but give it a couple of minutes and it will
come back to you.
