Next. /etc/lilo.conf looks like What if you are using GRUB? Does it use the lilo settings?

Civileme, Thanks much for the info. I can now read from my LS-120 (not sure of the settings used to make a boot disk yet though ) and my Teac CDROM seems to work ok, even though I get errors listed in 'dmesg'. The big problem is my burner won't work. I get 'hda: driver not present'. I
