[newbie] oss emulation through alsa

I have Mandrake 9.1, and would like to run OSS emulation through ALSA. The reason for this is that when I try to run games with wine, it only works with OSS. The problem with that is, Shockwave Flash doesn't work at all on the internet. I would like both of these to work at the same time, and I

Dear All, I have been the one trying to get sound working with ALSA and it just has been no go, so now I am trying to get my commercial OSS working. I have LM9. OSS installs fine but whenever I try the soundtest it starts up for a few seconds and I hear it but then abrubtly stops and hangs
