It turns out that the Eudora mail files are "almost mbx." There are
actually two files for each mailbox. One is mailbox_name.mbx and
there's Mailbox_name.toc.
Why this is done, I'm not entirely sure. I think it keeps the info for
attachments and the like.
The problem is, even plain text email
I believe KMail can import Outlook Express mail files directly. Also, while
Eudora saves their mail in the same format, the windows version adds an
extension to the filenames that you need to rename after copying them to the
Mail folder in your Linux home directory.

i too am looking to switch from my win2k system over to linux, as my system
has crashed or been corrupted (undeletable files, programs, massive

A search on Sourceforge for the word 'Autocad' throws up 10 projects of
various types. One of them ought to do the trick.
