I have webmin setup but I want to access it from another computer and I can not. If I browse to https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx I get my apache page, if I browse to https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1 I don't get anything.. Here is another problem. I currently only have ssh access to my linux box. Does

First you need to make sure that webmin is running. At a shell do a : /etc/init.d/webmin status if it comes up with: miniserv.pl is stopped Then webmin is not running. Do this at a shell to get it running (as root): /etc/init.d/webmin start Then it will print out: Starting Webmin
