Hi, Caroll, this is a bug on the 7.1 installer when run in non-expert mode. There is a fix at http://www.linux-mandrake.com/en/heliumlast.php3 halfway down the page (2nd error scenario). Download the script and save it as a file and then run it using the command "perl linux_extended_fix.pl".
