well folks,,, I did a fresh clean install of 9.1 after testing with 9.0... on the linux box...and wow what a treat... great job Mandrake...i love 9.1. I got it seeing the windows networked machine... I got it connected...to DSL ...and browsing websites... using the connected windows box...

Actually Damian, yahoo has very recently released a new version of its messenger software for Linux to make it look more like the other platform versions (I believe it was released sometime last month, but not quite sure). They even have a Mandrake specific RPM available for download on the
