Hi, Now Mandrake is installed within my laptop but it seems that WinXP is killed. When I try to boot into WinXP it crashes, saying unmountable_boot_volume. What can I do ? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Regards, QingHua Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft? Go to

if you boot up on the Winxp cd and choose recovery console, that will bring you to a dos prompt. you can then try chkdsk /r, fixboot or fixmbr. There is help on the web if you do a google search for unmountable boot volume that will bring up further help but the chkdsk /r worked for me.
