I almost always think that anyone complaining about the speed of MDK7.x or greater MUST have a configuration problem (most likely in network settings) that is slowing them down. like looking for a DNS that ain't there.. I maen, heck how fast do you think it should be. every one I ever see that

Just out of curiosity... What exactly do you mean by fast enough? I run Mandrake 7.2 on a 300MHz Celeron overclocked to 450 MHz, with 128 MB RAM, and a Western Digital Expert 7200 RPM, 8.5 GB HD. The system runs great, with most apps loading in 1-2 seconds. Dave On Wednesday 30 May 2001
