I am using Mandrake 7.1 and had installed emacs from an xterm rather than during the installation process. So I did the usual mounting of the cdrom and then changed directories. Next I install the RPM that I needed. After I installed it an error was returned saying error: failed

Hi, There are two possibilities, and hence two solutions: 1. The libraries are copied but they are not installed to your system. Try control-panel or glint (as root) from a xterm to verify if the library is installed. If not, install it. 2. If the library is installed and works well, you may
