Someone wrote me to tell me how to do it.
You have to activate xscreensaver by typing in the console:
xscreensaver-demo
This activates the screensaver demon. Now select your screensaver. Close
console. Go to KDE Control Center, Look n Fee
Hi all!
I am using Mandrake 7
I want the screen saver to be password protected
I select the check-box and "apply" for root and users, rebooted even,
but the screen saver still goes off happily when you move the mouse.
Am I missing something here?

Hi all! My screen saver only stays on for one minute. Is this how it works in
linux? Also my power-management is not working. It never goes into powerdown
or standby? I am running mandrake 6.0 in kde.
