I want to type out a big THANK YOU to
all those who directed me toward these
most EXCELLENT napster clients,
I installed both of them because sometimes
I want to use a feature found on one or the
other client, but to me they both kick butt in my
opinion.
Thank you to flupke, Freeman, Rial, and
Many thanks

There's Jnap, a pure Java Napster client. You need to have the JDK 1.2.2
installed first, though.

VoilĂ . I have this running, and it works
Search for "napster" on freshmeat. Currently, IMHO, the 2 best clients are
"knapster" and "gnapster" (for KDE, resp. Gnome).
