I had a similar problem and here are a instructions on how TWO DIFFERENT
ways to do the same thing from people who helped me:
Edit the file "lilo.conf" in the /etc drawer and look for a line containing
"append", and change it to append="mem=192M". After that you have to execute
"lilo -v" in a she
