Hmm... Thats a 3com driver isn't it. I'm using that one without any problems. Is it a PCMCIA card? You do not have NFS defined do you? That can cause hangs on power down. Have you tried stopping the network before you shut down? What are the last messages in the syslog. Any clues? On
