Just so you know, I dont believe that the DHCPD is what you need if you are trying to configure it as a client. Dhcpd is the daemon which provides the service to others. If you are not trying to make a dhcp server, I wouldnt recommend that you install this package. If you go into

just run rpmdrake and tick the search box.. enter dhcp and you will find all you want and more.. then just edit your settings to suit... but if you download them as rpm's in windows, and transfer them to a linux accessable partition, then yes. you can install them. rgds Frank
