Hi, the early Cyrix processors generated lots of heat. When I went through my Socket 7 CPU upgrades, the largest heatsink/cooler I'd ever bought was for my Cyrix P166+ (133MHz). The system simply kept hanging with my other more normal-sized coolers. So cooling might be the issue here. Hope
