I am running Mandrake 7.2. I was going to do a back up with tar and
gzip. Which
directories, should I back up? I read in "the complete idiots guide to
Linux (Caldera)".
That one should back up:
/etc
/usr/lib
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11
/usr/src/linux (if you have modified the kernal)
/home
Hi,
I was trying to update my Linux 7.1 using the Mandrake Update program and
I got the message:
fetching of mirror list failed.
Then it just dumped me out of the program. I can ftp to places ok but my
netscape needs
a http proxy in order to work. How can I fix this problem?
