Hello I am looking for a good TV Card to use with Mandrake 9.0. I plan to upgrade to 9.1 next month. I have searched a few web sites and so far have found a Hauppauge WinTV PVR-350 but it is a bit pricey for my budget. Are there other recommendations for one that will work with Linux? I do not

Hi My Toshiba 1805-s204 has what is called a software modem in it. This is what is described in the hardware list in XP. I am assuming this is a winmodem which is why has not been responding in Mandrake 9.0. Therefore, I am considering a pcmcia modem in order to use Mandrake on this notebook.

Hi I am currently upgrading from 5.3 to 6.0 on another computer after giving up on this one getting my ATAPI zip drive to work. Under 5.3, my parallel port zip drive was found. Under 6.0 during the upgrade it wasn't. What gives here? Shouldn't a newer kernel be downward compatable? Many thanks
