Hi, i had the same problem (and worse while trying to fix it) with the trident 3D Blade agp 8 mb; i looked at the cd that came with the card and found the VGA\Trident\9880\Linux directory, here there are: a XF86_SVGA file to replace the original that comes with Mandrake, and a readme file
