What do you mean by did I wire out the slow jet? I soked them in
acetone and blew them out with compressed air. I pulled number 4 plug
it was light tan on the insulation with some black on the threads.
Should I run the plug test with the stock filter or the KN?

Guys, I'll try to comment to all your e-mails. Few points:
- The melted part is INSIDE, the plastic region where the sockets are
attached, NOT THE SCREEN. So for some reason the plastic AROUND the socket
got melted. Neither the bulge nor the socket show residuals of the black
plastic, then I'm

What classifies as apes anyway (height wise)? I prefer a little higher

you can buy music wire of the appropriate diameter for the jet and pass it
through the jet, but music wire takes a little skill to prepare for use. A
better bet is a wire gage shouldn't cost more that 3-4 bucks ea. from an
industrial supply house, maybe mail order from Granger or Manhattan
Huston warm!? 100*F+ and 98% humidity is not warm it is insufferable, it is
anti-life, unfit for human habitation. Only the mildewed live there... UGH!

Success? I guess. I made mine out of the wheels of my daughters old roller
skates. I went to Home Depot and bought the strongest bolts I could get.
