I don't know anything about the Ron Ayers crash bars. I found mine on
e-bay and they are Hondaline. They stick out about two inches from
the engine on either side. They were from a '82 550, but fit fine.

have the cap. I am using the cap that was on the original (evap
system) tank.
Is there a way to modify the cap? Or should I start looking for a

What viscosity is your oil? I have used Valvoline 10W-30, or the
semi-synthetic Honda recommends (didn't like it), and lastly, Amsoil. Have had
no disengaging problems like that, but with 15,000 city miles, it would appear
