It's *real* simple. remove your left side cover.(opposite to the side your
battery is on) unscrew the four screws to your airbox. open it. your air
filter is right there. you should be able to rinse it and reuse it but, if
not, can easily replace it. hope this helps!

The clamping type cruise control is called a Vista Cruise and it will
fit on the older bikes. I have one on my '83 650 Nighthawk now and had
one on the '83 650 back when it was new. They work well to give you
that little break on those long runs. I use one on my current Sport/
Tour as well. Helps
Good ideaI thought Sta-bil stopped the rust, but I'll keep that in mind.
Lucky for me that my tanks are full or nearly so anyways.

I have an NEP throttle lock, similar to the VistaCruise. Both are
simple clamps applied with a thumb lever, that keep the throttle from
closing. It's useful only for long, straight stretches with no
traffic. Otherwise it doesn't adjust for grades, curves or closeness
to other vehicles and you're co
I always keep my tank completely full for winter storage. By having it
full of gasoline means there is no air inside tank. No air - No
condensation - No moisture No rust inside of tank.
