10 amps @ 12v nominal is 120watts... that's actually a lot of power for it to be putting out at an idle. Only things that should be consuming that power are your headlight and the ignition box, right? Just seems high. Headlight's probably no more than 35w, if memory serves correctly (35/55 low/hig

That depends on the amp-hours that your battery can store. See if your battery has that info on it. For the most part, don't worry too much about it. If you're really concerned, you could switch your headlight to low beams. That's about the biggest draw in the bike's system next to (and likely s

a 10 amp constant draw dosent sound right... And the bike will not charge at full potential, but it will charge... I recomend testing how long you can run at idle your self... In your driveway (with a battery charger and extra gas on hand) ride around the block a few times then park in your driv
