I have these -- a good starter set, tank bag, tail bag and small
saddlebags by Dowco for $176. Look good on the bike, carry enuf for a
day trip (or two) and have sewn-in raincovers. They're on sale
occasionally on J.C. Whitney and might be worth shopping. I think I

When I was in the Navy, we used to periodically hold "FOD" drills,
which consisisted of warm bodies, shoulder-to-shoulder, walking a
runway or aircraft carrier deck searching for items that might cause
damage to jet engin
Starting to wander off topic... I saw a video where a guy reached down to grab
a wheel chock and got sucked into an A-6 head first. Totally gruesome, and eye
opening about the power of a jet.
