+1 on the warm up.
All Hondas exhibit that tendency -- cold blooded, because of the too-
lean nature of the air-fuel mix. Typical warm up is more like 5
minutes or more. Good measure to determine when the bike is ready to
ride is: full choke on start up, then wait till idle starts to drop.
Atlanta -- moderate sundown temps finally, but take bungies to strap
the jacket to the bike in late afternoon. Still hot, humid then.
Great night time, tho. In the high 50s.

like this:
Put the choke on all the way.
Start the engine.
It will idle between 1200 and 1500 RPM's at first, the start slowly
climbing.
When it begins idling over 3000 RPM's, I move the choke half-way up.
The idle RPM's will drop

Summer months I barely have to crack the lever on it, and it takes about a
minute for the idle to leap up above 3k.
Colder weather (down to forties) takes half choke and ~6 minutes before I'm
off it completely.
20s, which we get for about two months here, it's 3/4 choke and 7-8
’84 CB650 SC: Mine needs full choke/no throttle, even on a nice summer day.
As RPM climbs, reduce choke, and when choke is half off, it is ready to ride.
When I stop and the RPM is high, then I remember to push choke off completely!

I have the factory shop manual for every vehicle I've ever cared
about. I have the haynes/chilton etc for everything I've ever owned.
I don't remember the last time I opened one of the off brands. By the
time I'm stumped the off brand isn't going to help other than a torque spec.

printed on. No tips, no details, just exploded views, disassembly order, and

I had that problem with some leather ones on my 650. I found out where the
bind up was and had to cut a few holes in the leather. I also had to drive
new holes for the lacing to shorten them up to keep them off the exhaust.
