Ethanol is a form of alcohol. Seafoam contains a fair amount of
(isopropyl) alcohol.
Ergo, if ethanol corrodes, so might Seafoam, which we know not to be
so.
The bit about Stabil being unstabil (sic) is news to me, too.

Not this again... ethanol is NOT corrosive unless you're talking about
untreated, unlined, unanodized aluminum, and even then it's slow. No part
of the carburetor fits any of these criteria.
What IS corrosive is (ionized) water and all the crap it dissolves and
carries with it. Yes, ethanol is hyg

Advice: Before storing for more than 21 days: Drain fuel from tank, lines,
carbs. Fog inside of tank with PB Blast, WD40, or other light oil. Replace fuel
filter and get all of the fuel out of lines. Burn it in car, truck, or other
moto. It takes 15 minutes tops.

Last summer I didn't get to riding my bike much...mostly because it was a
VERY busy summer, with multiple church camps, my daughter's wedding and a
road trip that I took (not on my bike) from my home in Oregon to visit
family in Minnesota. The bottom line: my bike SAT a lot. Then by the time I

Hey, that's my bike. And that's an awesome intro there as well. She reminds me
a little of Jennifer Tilly. Great post Pastor Ron.
