Not sure if either of the dented exhausts pictured in this thread (Paul's or Graham's) are already accounted for, but I am in the market for a set of stock exhaust pipes with dents or whatever. The reason is that my bike has nearly perfect exhaust pipes, but this is my first bike and a daily v

Glad to hear the headlight is properly working now. This is a good example of why I never take my vehicles to be worked on by anyone...ever. And I would say that replacing the pod is probably not necessary, you know where the solder is and how to fix it! If it does go out again, just re-solder

Yep that's the plan, I'm still trying to decide between a 16T or 17T. Hence the RPM calculator lol -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group. To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email

I know the feeling...I reach for 6th gear all the time on mine. And I hate how 5th gear is pretty much a universal gear for any speeds higher than 40mph. Cool, I appreciate the advice. I was leaning towards going straight to the 17T anyways as the increase to 16T doesn't reduce the RPMs much. D

[Nighthawk Lovers] 17T sprocket fitment issues

2016-08-11 Thread Dan Molenhouse
Hey everyone, So I recently purchased a JT sprockets 17t front sprocket for my 92 750 Nighthawk. Installation went smoothly up until it was time to install the cover. The cover will not clear the new sprocket, the metal plate between the cover and the transmission hits the sprocket. Any advice?

Out of curiosity (not trying to hijack the thread here), but is it recommended to rejet the carbs after doing the Hodge mod? I wanted to make my 750 a little louder, but don't want to burn up my valves because of improper jetting. On Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 5:20:02 PM UTC-6, Greg wrote: >
