Are the covers aluminum? non-magnetic?
Seals have a tendancy to stick because of the additional heat. Slight prying
with a plastic angle bar is helpful.

I had an earlier post back in Dec2011 chiming into the group, but can't locate
it, so I thought I'd re-intro as I begin to post more. Live in Long Beach, CA
and own a 84' NH Red, with about 30k on her.
Originally I owned a Blue 84, but thats a long story with a six pack attached
to it.
Opps, forgot that part. Yep! 700SC

Depending upon the severity of the dent, you could attempt pulling it out with
a glass suction cup. Another alternative would be to find a Dent's Out
service in your area to eval if they can pop it out or not. Usually they only
can remove smaller quarter size dents, but I have seen one near
One more thing about pulling dents out. Hole drilling is a thing of the past.
What most shops do now is the have a special spot welder that attaches a strand
if steel to the surface. Then they take a pullout with a chuck that grabs the
strand and work the dent out slowly. Once all is done,
It's always the question of... How many times do you want to fix it?

Hey Ron;
I've had both. Had two chain Enduro Street, and now two streets
with shafts, NH 700S BMW K1200LT.
I notice the chain more on the street bike more than the enduro. I
certainly don't miss the chain maintenance/mess that goes along with
it.
Although there's maintenance w/shaft drives

I saw one like that at Huntington Honda several years ago.
It was actually outriggers for a handicapped rider so the Wing would

They automatically deployed when stopped.

Not sure what Grahms awnser is to his solution, but I would check a
couple of things...
1) Reseat all plug wires to insure good connection. You may want to
also check the connection at the coil itself.
2) I would also check the coils themselves for good output. There
are seeral ways to do
