Start squirting a few days before you actually disassemble, and if they are
through-bolts hit both ends of them, it's best that way.
The biggest issues I had were on the screws holding the various brackets to
the carbs and the bowl screws nearest the head. Not sure what it was about
those, but the
Thanks for the tip. I'm getting ready to disassemble and clean my NH carb.
Excellent advice.

Since there are no diesel NHs I know this off-topic, but diesel is the cat's
meow. It's certainly saved Europe's economic hide with gas prices as they
are. It's an entirely different world driving in England; wonderful cars we
never see here, including German Ford diesels that are fine machines. I'

It is a single carb. The gaskets may not help if the carb/bike have been
sitting for a lengthy period of time. I did not get in on this thread from the
beginning, but I can tell you from my own experience that I had to replace my
carb because the inner workings of it were eaten up on account o
Isn't the CB250 just a single carb? That would at least save the
synching/rebalancing part of all that... not to mention fewer parts to buy!
Gads, gaskets are expensive, $40 per carb...

Welcome.
That's a pretty specific question - I'm not sure if someone on the group has
done a similar swap. If you can look up part numbers, here's some more things
you'll want to try and cross-reference:
- Choke cable
- Throttle cables
- carb boots from air cleaner
The control cables may atta
